Why is selling Bitcoin in Canada Complicated?

One of the features of this site is providing an in-depth look at the challenging bitcoin countries. Surprisingly enough, Canada is weird when it comes to selling bitcoin.

You can buy bitcoin in Canada easily. That’s just not really an issue.

Selling it… well you can sell it easily as well but if you want to sell it on an exchange and withdraw CAD you are very limited.

A fact of life is this. The government will always think that they get to tell you what to do with your money. For whatever reason, someone up north that loves hockey, drinks Labatt’s, and has a mullet has decided to make it hard to sell it for some CAD.

That just won’t do any good when you’re sitting in the Tim Horton’s drive through trying to get your grub on!
